Nama Oppo barangkali belum begitu dikenal, namun vendor ponsel ini populer di China. Baru-baru ini, mereka bikin gebrakan dengan menghadirkan smartphone Android berkamera depan 5 megapixel.

Umumnya, kamera depan di sebuah smartphone paling banter beresolusi 2 megapixel. Memang bukan tanpa alasan smartphone bernama Oppo Ulike 2 tersebut memakai kamera depan beresolusi lumayan tinggi.

Smartphone tersebut ditujukan untuk kaum wanita. Sehingga dengan resolusi memadai, kamera depannya bisa digunakan untuk berkaca atau sekadar narsis. Konon, inilah smartphone pertama di dunia dengan kamera depan 5 megapixel.

Kamera depan tersebut juga dibekali beragam fitur. Seperti berbagai pilihan filter untuk mengolah foto menjadi lebih bagus. 

Oppo Ulike 2 rencananya pertama kali dipasarkan di China. Bocorannya, ponsel tersebut dibekali spesifikasi seperti prosesor dual core, RAM 1GB dan kamera belakang 8 megapixel.

Android Quad Core LG Usung LTE

Jakarta - Serpihan soal ponsel Androud tercanggih LG mulai terkuak. Selain spesifikasi yang konon luar biasa sangar, produk tersebut juga sudah menggunakan koneksi berbasis LTE.

Hal itu diungkapkan Jong seok Park, President and CEO LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company dalam keterangan yang diterima detikINET, Selasa (28/8/2012).

Disebutkan bahwa ponsel quad core terbaru LG akan menggunakan chip Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064S dengan dukungan LTE. Hal ini dilakukan demi menghadapi persaingan global yang kian sengit. 

"Smartphone terbaru ini kami siapkan benar untuk mendukung LG Mobile dalam kompetisi pasar global. Kerjasama erat dari beberapa perusahaan yang tergabung dalam grup besar LG telah menyumbangkan sentuhan teknologi terbaik dengan satu tujuan yaitu, memberikan pengalaman mengesankan bagi penggunanya," kata Park.

Park juga mengklaim bahwa smartphone Quad-Core berbasis LTE terbaru LG tak hanya menawarkan kinerja super cepat dari prosesornya namun juga memiliki daya baterai yang lebih tahan lama, layar lebih cerah, panel touchscreen terbaru yang terbungkus dalam bodi yang lebih ramping. 

Seperti dikabarkan sebelumnya bahwa ponsel yang disebut-sebut sebagai LG Optimus G itu memiliki prosesor 4 inti 1,5 GHz dan memori RAM sebesar 2 GB. Kemudian disokong kamera 13 MP, GPU Andreo 320 yang dipadukan dengan layar TrueHD IPS+ 4,7" beresolusi 1280 x 800 pixel.

Menyandang nama True HD IPS+, konon layar terbaru itu memiliki kepadatan gambar mencapai 320 pixels per inch (ppi) dan stripe RGB IPS panel dengan resolusi 1280x768 piksel. Sementara tingkat kecerahannya mencapai 470 nits dengan konsumsi daya 70% lebih rendah dalam tampilan layar berlatar belakang warna putih.

Sayangnya, LG belum menyebutkan kapan ponsel tersebut akan dipasarkan. Pun begitu soal ketersediaannya di Indonesia nanti.

Canon memperkenalkan dua jagoan baru produk kamera DSLR anyar untuk kelas entry level. Vendor asal Jepang itu mengusung kamera EOS 600D dan 1100D yang kini mulai menyapa pasar Indonesia.

"Keduanya ditujukan untuk pengguna pemula dan punya fitur-fitur untuk memudahkan pengoperasian kamera," ucap Sintra Wong selaku Marketing Manager Image Communication Product Division Canon Indonesia, dalam konferensi pers di Bali.

Ya, kedua kamera tersebut dibekali beberapa fasilitas yang digadang-gadang dapat membantu pengguna awam mengutak-atik kamera DSLR. Seperti apa?

Canon EOS 600D dipersenjatai sensor CMOS resolusi 18 megapixel dan prosesor gambar DIGIC 4. Kamera ini diklaim bekerja cepat dalam memproses foto dan meminimalkan noise, meski pengaturan ISO tinggi. Fitur continuous shoothing hingga 3,7 frame per detik dan start up time cepat juga jadi andalannya.

Sedangkan fitur Scene Intelligent Auto dan Picture Style Auto ditujukan membantu fotografer pemula, yang bisa secara otomatis menentukan pengaturan pencahyaan dan nuansa warna yang tepat berdasar jenis foto yang dibidik.

TOKYO, KOMPAS.com — Untuk menikmati konten tiga dimensi di layar TV, selama ini penonton selalu wajib menggunakan kacamata khusus. Namun, mulai sekarang, itu tidak lagi. Toshiba telah memelopori produk TV LCD yang bisa menampilkan citra 3D tanpa tergantung kacamata lagi alias bisa langsung dinikmati dengan mata telanjang.

TV tersebut mulai dijual di Jepang, Rabu (22/12/2010). Saat ini baru tersedia model Regza GL1 yang berukuran 12 inci. Satu unitnya memang dijual cukup mahal, yakni 119.800 yen atau sekitar Rp 13,5 juta. Model dengan layar lebih lebar 20 inci akan menyusul akhir pekan nanti.

Dell Tablet Android 7 Inci

The device was brought CEO of Dell, Michael Dell, while on stage as a speaker in the Oracle OpenWorld conference, San Francisco, Wednesday (22/9/2010) ago. However, he did not give more detailed specifications of these devices.

Previously, Dell has launched a five-inch-sized tablet that is named Streak last month. Dell says Streak is currently only available at the company's online store and will be available at Best Buy retail stores starting next month. Streak, operates with Android and doubles as a smart phone with a price of 549.99 U.S. dollars, or 299.99 U.S. dollars but a two-year contract with AT & T.

Bekerjasama dengan peneliti dari Tohoku University, Jepang, Sony mengembangkan laser semikonduktor blue-violet ultra cepat yang memungkinkan data sebesar 1 Terabyte atau setara dengan 1000 Gigabyte disimpan pada sekeping media optik. Sebagai gambaran, satu keping disc tersebut mampu menampung data sama banyaknya dengan 106 keping DVD dual layer.

Teknologi optik itu menggunakan laser berwarna biru lembayung tipe baru yang dapat menghasilkan denyutan atau tembakan dalam hitungan pico detik atau sama dengan satu per satu triliun detik.

Selain itu, leser semikonduktor dan amplifier optik semikonduktor baru juga memungkinkan keluaran daya hingga 100 watt. Seratus kali lipat lebih dibandingkan dengan tembakan laser semikonduktor konvensional.

“Pengembangan terbaru ini merupakan denyutan laser picosecond dengan panjang gelombang laser yang mencapai 405 nanometer (panjang gelombang sama dengan Blu-ray) di kawasan biru lembayung,” kata juru bicara Sony, pada keterangannya, 2 Agustus 2010.

Sony menyebutkan, laser ini mampu membuat denyutan optik dalam durasi yang sangat cepat yakni 3 pico detik dengan keluaran daya puncak mencapai 100 watt dan frekuensi repetisi hingga 1GHz.

Kalau boleh jujur, keypad hape Micxon ini kurang bersahabat – keras dan penempatan tombol navigasinya terpisah jauh dengan pencetan tombol eksekusi. Jadi sulit, kalau mau cari-cari menu yang lebih dalam.

Untungnya, Anda bisa memainkan colokan yang bisa membantu memilih fitur. Karena layar S900 memang merupakan layar sentuh, kendati kurang sensitif. Saat menggunakan stylus bawaan, akses ke menu yang dituju tidak selalu berhasil. Harus ditekan beberapa kali baru berhasil. Begitu juga akses dengan jari tangan. Selain kurang responsif, pengguna harus punya ujung kuku yang runcing.

Dibandingkan para pendahulunya yang menanamkan banyak aplikasi, Micxon S900 minim dan ogah inovasi. Ya Sinyal melihatnya demikian, karena pengayaan fitur yang biasanya dilakukan hape Cina dari produk sebelumnya sama sekali tak ada di Micxon S900.

Micxon agak kurang perhatian dalam menyajikan kemudahan akses ke aplikasi Facebook di menu utama. Anda harus mengklik browser untuk menemui jalan pintasnya. Tapi jangan kuatir, untuk main-main ke situs jejaring tersebut sekaligus kasih comment dan mengubah status serta profile bisa dijalankan. Aplikasi menarik lainnya, yakni ’sensor goyang’ yang dengan hanya menggerakkan tangan Anda bisa mengganti wallpaper di S900.

Kamera & Video

Untuk masalah memotret Anda harus melakukan settings kualitas hape agar bisa mendongkrak maksimal kerapatan yang ada di Micxon S900. Jika tidak, kualitas hasil bidikan menjadi sia-sia disebabkan hasilnya kurang baik. Terlebih lagi, tak ada yang disematkan untuk membantu penerangan apabila memotret di tempat yang remang-remang. Tidak ada flash. Otomatis, hasil bidik banyak noise-nya, alias bintik-bintik.

Untuk mengaktifkan kamera sederhana saja. Masuklah ke Multimedia dan langsung pilih kamera. Jangan ragu-ragu untuk memberikan parameter yang optimal. Kalau mau hasil yang baik, pilih Settings>Image Settings>Image Size>640x480. Lalu di .kotak bawahnya, ubah Image Quality>High. Nah sekarang, Anda tinggal jepret di luar ruangan.

Bila sudah, silahkan gambarnya disimpan di Micro SD. Sekadar info, paket penjualan Micxon tidak menyertakan microSD.

Audio Player

Ada lagi yang mampu membuat nuansa hiburan lengkap. Pemutar MP3 di hape S900. Peletakannya tidak jauh berbeda di dalam multimedia, sama dengan fitur kamera. Jadi jika ingin langsung menjajal Anda bisa memainkan jemari untuk menyambangi fitur ini.

Berbeda dengan fitur kamera yang pengaturannya dapat secara signifikan dirasakan, untuk kualitas suara Micxon S900 cenderung berjalan tanpa pengaturan, meski memang disediakan. Sebab, dari beberapa parameter yang coba dimainkan, tak ada perubahan drastis yang bisa membuat perbedaan.

Memulainya, silahkan pindahkan lagu ke hape, Anda bisa melakukan refresh. Catatan settings harus ditujukan ke memori hape tempat file berada. Kemudian masuk ke pengaturan dengan mencobanya. Bandrol murah, sepertinya menjadi alasan utama produk Micxon S900 bisa sampai ke pasar. Si produsen berpikir hape-nya bisa bersaing di kelas hape QWERTY. Akibatnya, aplikasi Facebook dan desain yang merujuk kepada desain hape papan atas sengaja ditampilkan.
